Wander & Taste Stories is a curated Chinatown experience created by Leo Gong, inspired by his film The Mo Lum of San Francisco Chinatown.

Leo is a filmmaker, photographer, and martial artist whose work explores culture, movement, and lived environments. Rooted in Chinatown and Gung Fu traditions, his storytelling focuses on everyday spaces, hidden histories, and community perspectives.

This experience is designed for guests who want to see Chinatown with curiosity, presence, and attention to detail.

  • Absolutely. No experience is needed—just curiosity, comfortable walking shoes, and an openness to explore Chinatown through stories, observation, and atmosphere.

  • The experience typically lasts 2–3 hours depending on group pace and conversation.

  • Comfortable walking shoes, water, a phone or camera, and weather-appropriate clothing.

  • Food and drinks are not included. We may visit local bakeries, tea shops, and neighborhood institutions where guests can choose to purchase items.

  • If weather makes the walk difficult, we will reschedule or offer a refund.

  • Yes. Private walks are available for individuals, couples, and small groups.
